Why Clients asks Website Audit Reports for free?

An SEO audit can be done via a program for virtually nothing so no problem there, that is your problem solved. However, you're probably thinking, but satanzhand those insta-audits are crap I do a much better job doing them manually. I would agree if you're dealing with someone worthwhile you'll likely want to spend the time and do it properly so you can show them how crappy their site is. Guess what people don't often like paying to know they suck and that's what you are asking essentially unless they are next level customers who are smart enough to know, knowing what's wrong is illustrating opportunity. This brings me to the next point, you are hitting the wrong customers and have the wrong strategy. If you are approaching clients who pay enough then doing an audit is a sales tool which is totally worth your time. example random shotgun spammed cheap ass client paying 200-300 p/mth who will likely cancel and be a pain in the butt is probably not worth spending a couple hours on an audit? But a strategically chosen and targeted potential customer who may pay 1000-2000-5000-11000 and stay with you for years is 100% worth doing a couple hours for a kick ass report for free..and likely even worth doing a rough marketing plan for free.
